The Country Club opened in 1902 and as designed by Jerry Pate and Donald J. Ross. The A.C. Reed Golf Course has been voted several times as the best Golf Course near Pensacola, and the longest Golf Course is the Perdido Bay Golf Club, at 7,072 yards (18 holes).  The A.C. Read Golf Course includes Bayou Course (9 holes, 3,366 yards), Lakeview Course (9 holes, 3,296 yards), Executive Course (18 holes, 4,292 yards), and the Bayview Course (9 holes, 3,248 yards).
